These are all from a hike we went on last month. Amidst towering stands of yucca and magnificent clumps of sage we found areas of shade to cool off in, befriended lizards on rocks and still managed to look badass (my sister at least) in the rising heat. She liked the walk back the most, with the shadier paths and babbling brook along the way. Duly noted!
