triple the westies triple the fun!

Emergency Westie babysitting today!

1. BB - a picture of the calm before the storm.
2. Charlie making his mark in our backyard before joining back up with BB and Max to play all day!
3. A tuckered out Max taking his afternoon nap.
4. (Clockwise from 11:00) BB, Max, and Charlie in a stand-off very much like the one in The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly!
5. Charlie and BB making a Maxie sandwich!

This crazy afternoon with three Westies affirms my need to systematically hold every Westie within a ten-mile radius for ransom, leaving a note for the owners to meet up at the park to claim their Westie and instead have a jam-packed day of Westie fun! The happiest silliest ransom ever! Or else it'd be great to organize a 'Westie Walk' and have the dogs and their owners come out on their own accord...

who is who?

My sister took these brilliant shots of me and Isaac while we were in his kitchen making espresso, back on May 2nd during a study session/charrette! Uncanny resemblances, but totally only skin-deep :P.

them: who did you kill?! me: they were asking for it!

It's just red paint!

I spent my lunch hour spray painting 40-odd stools (maybe it was more like 20-25) with a stencil that I hand-cut because I was too stubborn/prideful/lazy to get it laser-cut. Apparently I've never heard of gloves either because by the time I was finished with my task I realized I probably should have covered up my hands. My friends in studio were laughing so hard at me they said I had to take pictures of my 'red-gloved'/gory/'Dexter-esque' hand. I only do this a few times a year but I need to carry a box of latex gloves with me because I get into all sorts of messy shenanigans. Just keeping it weird!

jolted

I forgot to mention something funny that happened today: I didn't feel like being in studio so I ventured down to the sculpture studio to check out what the metal sculpture class was up to, and upon entering the room I see an image of mine projected on a screen for the class to see. I greet my old instructor and remark 'Uh, I never e-mailed you my process shots...' and he goes 'I know! I just found these through Google! This picture was the second result. Then I guess I found your blog, too.'

I guess it's to be expected if I'm putting up all this stuff on the Internet. No harm done, but it was weird. A funny student who'd been listening later said 'Now you're famous!' At least I provided useful/educational content?
