We went to a mountainous part of Malaysia today to see timber post-and-beam architecture.
I've never seen pine trees growing alongside plants like hibiscus, palms, twirly vines, and other tropicals with enormous leaves. It's surreal. The Malaysian students were enamored with the pine cones so I have decided that once I return to the States I will ship over a box to them.
